When registering an asset, you’re able to choose between registering with ownership and collection, or with ownership only.
Ownership & Collection
Registering assets with Ownership & Collection will record the assets metadata and rights holder information on the blockchain, and will also direct all future royalties to be paid to rights holders. This means you will be paid in OWN Coin according to your % share of the asset, receiving the payment into your wallet.
Ownership only
Registering assets with Ownership Only will record the assets metadata and rights holder information on the blockchain but will leave it’s current royalty collection method unchanged. This means you will continue to receive payments the same way you always have for this asset.
